The Elders of Bethel Church are charged with the spiritual growth of its members. Each member is assigned to an Elder who reaches out periodically to support and encourage members in their faith walk and help connect them with opportunities to serve. Acts 20:28
The Deacons of Bethel Church are charged with equipping the church to carry out internal and external ministries and missions. Each deacon has a specific area of responsibility. Members are encouraged to reach out to the appropriate deacon with any organizational issues, allowing our pastor and staff to focus all their energies on ministering the Word and visitation. Acts 6:1-6
The Elders and Deacons collectively are The Session. The Session meets together periodically to consider legislative issues like proposed changes to the church bylaws and approval of new members. Acts 15:5-6
